Classical Music Mayhem has long been a multi-media experience, sporting not only music but also videos, pictures, and interactive venues. That's why I'm pleased to announce our latest addition: CMMonline!

CMMonline is a YouTube channel devoted to hosting many of the forum's music clips. You might ask, "Why do we need a YouTube channel when we can use online file hosting for samples?" The answer is simple: advertisement. Bringing CMM to YouTube opens up a brand new world to us. Instead of CMM being confined to this locale we can present our site to not only the classical music fans abiding at YouTube, but also whomever views our videos, which may easily be spread and linked around to other music fans and forums. So spread the word! E-mail our YouTube links to your friends or wherever you find yourselves discussing music. It's as easy as copy, paste, and send!

Now, without further delay...

To celebrate our grand opening you should see a resurgence of older topics now sporting embedded videos. Feel free to poke around and make suggestions. If you have a clip you wish for us to host feel free to let us know and we'll throw up a video for you! This certainly isn't all we'll be hosting; expect to see many more videos in the future.

Bravo Sorin, a sterling effort!

I've added links to the channel on the index and portal pages.

Great job Sorin. It looks really nice. Have to get some Mahler up soon!

I've giving this thread 'global announcement' status for a while to give it some extra exposure.

Absolutely! I'd be more than happy to throw a video together for someone; just send me a sample or two with the appropriate credits and it is already done!

We're getting quite a few friend requests at our YouTube site from miscellaneous users. If you wish to become a friend of CMMonline make sure you send us a YouTube PM letting us know who you are here at the site, otherwise we'll have no idea who you are at YouTube!

Thought I'd present an update for our CMMonline YouTube channel...

http://www.youtube.com/CMMonline

We took a little break a while back, but have recently returned with a new look and a series of new and varied videos! Here are some of our latest...

If you like something go ahead and send the links around to friends, family, acquaintances, etc. - we don't mind at all! It's our way of connecting with the music community at large. We'll continue to post sample-quality videos in the future, so keep your eyes peeled.

As for stats, our channel currently has just over 1,500 views with 28 subscribers and 4 friends. Our most popular video (see here) has more than 4,000 views. I think these are positive signs that the channel is beginning to pick up speed, certainly within the YouTube Classical Music community.

If you'd like to subscribe to our channel then feel free to do so; if you're a member here and would like to become a friend of CMMonline then please let us know who you are here when you send the friend request. Also, we would be more than happy to upload a sample for you, so long as it's under ten minutes long, so if you have any requests please feel free to ask! Thanks for the support.
